Staff can now add notes to Music teachers directly on SOCS. Main users can now navigate to the Music Teacher List to add notes or important information to the teacher. 'Scholar' flags will also appear in the 'Pupil Notes' on the scheduler to indicate the pupil's scholar status. Pupil and teacher notes appear on the lesson scheduler, keeping staff connected and informed.

During ad-hoc event registrations, parents and pupils can now only remove themselves from an event if they haven't been previously registered for it. 

Ensuring a transparent sign-up process and streamlining billing procedures, this update ensures that pupils cannot be removed from events in the parent/pupil login portal, after they have taken place.

With the end of term fast approaching, the collective focus shifts towards optimizing revision strategies for pupils, parents, and staff alike.

Exciting news from the competitions team! If you have any inquiries about existing competitions or wish to discuss setting up a new one with us, you can now reach out to Martyn and the team directly by emailing competitions@socs.tech.

Moving forward, all competition microsite inquiries will be centralized and handled exclusively through our new email address. If you've previously contacted our support team regarding a new or existing competition, rest assured that your message will be redirected to our dedicated competitions inbox and answered promptly by a member of the team.

Jim and Martyn recently represented us at the annual IAPS Directors of Sport Conference. It was a fantastic few days filled with engaging conversations, reconnecting with familiar faces, and forging new connections.
