We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting the iSAMS writeback feature, and we're excited to share that it’s nearly here! The integration between iSAMS and SOCS is designed to enhance co-curricular visibility and streamline the tracking of student attendance.

With iSAMS' new “Out of Class” feature, schools will soon be able to track students who are on campus but not in a specific class, like those participating in private music lessons or choir. This enhanced two-way integration will give you a better view of students’ activities throughout the day.

Our Business Development Director, James,  joined the iSAMS team at the Bett UK show this week and had the opportunity to discuss the new writeback feature in more detail. You can still catch the iSAMS team until the 24th January so be sure to visit the IRIS Education stand, SE50, to learn more about how writeback will support your school.

We’ve introduced a new enhancement to the Today’s Teams view in SOCS! Staff can now quickly identify if a parent has actively saved fixture consent or transport options, rather than relying on default settings. A new column clearly shows whether consent and travel options have been confirmed by the parent, helping your teams stay informed and organised.
