Our summer preview for SOCS Facilities is now underway, with early-access schools beginning to explore the platform. A huge thank you to everyone who signed up—  over 100 schools now have the module activated and with more functionality about to land, we're excited to show you what our newest module can do!

We know how important it is for new starters to hit the ground running—whether it's signing up for clubs, checking fixture details, or accessing key co-curricular info. That’s why SOCS makes it easy to give pupils in the admissions pipeline the access they need, even before they officially appear on your main pupil roll.

You can add incoming pupils manually, or—if you’re an iSAMS school—sync accepted applicants directly from your admissions records in iSAMS. It’s a simple way to ensure every pupil starts their school journey fully connected and informed.

If you're opening sign-up for 2025/26 clubs this term, here's a useful reminder: SOCS automatically recognises what year group each pupil will be in for the upcoming academic year.

For example, this means current Year 6 pupils will see Year 7 activities when signing up for Autumn 2025—no need to adjust year group settings or create duplicate clubs.

It's a simple way to offer a smooth sign-up experience while staying one step ahead.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Rugby School user group. Tracy and James had a fantastic day connecting with Rugby Group schools and regional prep schools—sharing ideas, exploring new SOCS modules, and discussing what’s coming next.

We’re especially grateful to the brilliant staff at Rugby School for hosting such a seamless event, and to the iSAMS by IRIS team for joining us to talk all things writeback.

We had a fantastic time attending ISBA’s annual conference—a brilliant event that brings together many of the independent sector’s leading bursars, business managers, and education experts.
