Take a look at the latest news & updates from the SOCS team!
We have enhanced the way parent consent and travel arrangements for fixtures are managed!
Now, when parents set their consent or travel arrangements for a fixture, staff will see a clear indication on the "Today's Teams" view that this information has been actively submitted by the parent, rather than being the default setting. Additionally, parents will notice the red 'consent' button turning green once they have completed their submission, providing a clear visual confirmation that consent has been granted for their child.
Year and house information is now displayed next to each pupil in the list of events for an athletics meeting.
This enhancement is designed to streamline organisation for events such as a school sports day, where year and house affiliations are crucial!
In the SOCS Music & Tuition modules, extra charges can now be added for staff just as they can for pupils.
In the 'Music Teacher' or 'Tutor' list, a new 'Charges' option is now available. From here, main users can add any additional payments that need to be made to teachers, allowing you to streamline billing processes and stay informed.
Staff members with any 'User Level' can now be granted access to the "Pupil Unavailability" lists in SOCS Sport and Co-curricular, allowing them to view all relevant data in one place.
Permissions can be added from the 'User Editor' screen in SOCS Administrator, where the following option will now appear.
Our team has been hard at work bringing our school sports portals in line with our evolved SOCS branding. We are pleased to announce that all portals have now been refreshed and are live. Enjoy the new, streamlined design and improved functionality aimed at enhancing user experience and celebrating school sport!

We want to extend a huge thank you to all of the attendees as well as the event organisers for working hard to put on such an enjoyable event.

We're excited to share our Client Success Manager Tracy's recent visit to Dean Close School. Firstly, we want to extend our thanks to the staff at Dean Close for the opportunity to visit their beautiful campus, which provided a great backdrop for some productive discussions.
Understanding the specific needs of our schools allows our dedicated training experts, like Tracy, to find solutions within our modules that work best for them. It was beneficial to meet with the Dean Close staff, explore all areas of SOCS, and discuss best practices to enhance their experience.
