SOCS Media

25 years ago, SOCS transformed how schools shared fixtures and results online and it is now transforming how school sport is streamed, celebrated and understood. SOCS Media captures and shares the best of school sport through innovative digital platforms, including SchoolsSports.TV and the Little & Large podcast. The streaming platform is powered by Joymo technology — winner of the Gold Award for Best in Broadcast Distribution at the 2025 SportsPro Media Awards in Madrid.

Introducing Schoolssports.tv — a safeguarding-first streaming platform built specifically for schools sports.

Whether it’s a full broadcast production, AI camera capture, or post-match upload, every moment lives in one safe, controlled environment — away from the risks of open social platforms.

From major events like national football, hockey, netball, lacrosse finals, the Howden Rosslyn Park National Schools 7s to the Daily Mail Trophy, schools can now stream with confidence, knowing their content is protected and their community is connected.

Better still, it’s fully integrated with SOCS — meaning fixtures, results, and live streams come together in one seamless experience.

Commentary teams

SOCS has an incredible network of professional commentary teams, film crews and editors embedded in the tightly woven fabric of school sports.

Phil Greenaway and Russell McCluskey — the much-loved voices behind the hugely popular Little & Large podcast joined the SOCS Media team in 2025.

Widely respected figures within UK school sport, Greenaway and McCluskey play a central role in amplifying the stories, energy and excellence of the school sport community through SOCS’s growing suite of media platforms and have lived and breathed school sport and understand it better than almost anyone, thanks to their careers as Directors of Sport at King’s College School Wimbledon and Dulwich College.

Partner podcasts

SOCS Media has partnered with Phil and Russ of Little & Large to produce a series of podcasts celebrating school sport and the stories behind some of the sector’s biggest competitions. From Road to Rosslyn Park to Beyond the Tryline for the Daily Mail Trophy, these podcasts bring together insight, humour and first-hand experience from two former Directors of Sport, giving schools, players and parents a fresh perspective on the competitions and communities that make school sport so special.

Alongside this, SOCS Media collaborates with PADSIS, School Health Pulse, The Well HQ and Non-perfect Dad to share expert advice, insight and research across the sector.
