A new parent and pupil experience, powered by SOCS

For more than 25 years, SOCS has been the trusted backbone of co-curricular life in schools across the world. Fixtures, music lessons, activities, sign-ups, calendars and communications, all live, all connected and all built around the real rhythm of school life.

The data has always been exceptional. Now, families have the experience to match.

We've completely redesigned the SOCS Parent and Pupil Portals from the ground up, creating a faster, more intuitive experience designed around the way modern families actually live.

For parents, the portal becomes a single personalised window into school life. Fixtures, music timetables, activity schedules, calendars and key updates all sit in one place, always current and automatically updated through SOCS. No duplicated systems. No manual upkeep. Just accurate information, exactly when families need it.

For pupils, it's about independence and ownership. The new Pupil Portal gives students a clear, beautifully designed space where they can see what's happening, what's coming up and where they need to be. It helps pupils stay organised and engaged, while reducing the administrative burden on staff answering routine questions throughout the day.

Importantly, these portals aren't standalone apps bolted onto existing systems. They are fully integrated with SOCS and designed to work seamlessly alongside major MIS platforms and school systems. The result is a connected experience for schools, staff, pupils and families alike.

This marks an important step forward for SOCS 2.0: combining decades of co-curricular expertise with a major investment in modern design, usability and platform architecture. Familiar where it matters. Transformational where it counts.

Parents can now toggle between the old and new view of the Parent Portal. The existing version will be phased out over time, and we will be sharing further information with schools shortly as part of this transition.
