Update to sign-up settings in SOCS Co-curricular

We’ve rolled out new sign-up settings across all schools — giving you even more flexibility in how you manage your activities and events.

You can now open sign-up to pupils, parents, or both, and even tailor this on a year-by-year basis. Whether you’re running clubs, co-curricular activities, or special events, this update makes it easier than ever to manage participation in a way that suits your school’s needs.

Head to your module settings to explore the new options and start customising your sign-up process today!

News from the SOCS team

Breaking down the barriers to girls’ sport

We’re so excited to share the footage from our recent panel discussion: Breaking Down the Barriers to Girls’ Sport!

At SOCS, we’re right at the heart of the school sports community — and the data is clear: girls’ sport is growing faster than ever. But we also know there are still challenges. That’s why we sponsored this powerful event at SOOO London, bringing together an amazing panel who shared their personal journeys and research to help girls keep playing confidently — through puberty and into adulthood.

Have you caught the latest Daily Mail Trophy podcast?

In case you missed it, we’re proud to be sponsoring the Daily Mail Trophy Podcast with Phil and Russ (Little & Large).

The duo bring their unique perspectives to everything school sport, teaching — and whatever else pops into their heads! We’re thrilled that they’re launching a series of episodes specifically focused on the Daily Mail Trophy, following the action and chatting as the season unfolds.

In the latest episode, Phil and Russell are joined by Matthew Gold, Head of Rugby at Abingdon School, who shares his rugby journey and insight into the school’s sports programme — along with the latest updates from the Trophy.

See you at the FOBISIA Annual Leadership Conference!

We’re excited to announce that the SOCS team will be attending the FOBISIA Annual Leadership Conference, taking place from 21-23 November 2025. We look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible throughout the event — come and say hello!

Following the success of our Dubai User Group earlier this year, we’re also delighted to be hosting our next SOCS User Group in partnership with Tanglin Trust School. This event will bring together schools from across the region to share insights, updates, and best practices — thank you to all of the schools who have signed up to this event, we can’t wait to continue the conversation in person.
