Spotlight on Will

Will, the head of our technical team, plays a crucial role in the way SOCS functions today. With a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Computer Science from University of Bristol, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and a strong athletic spirit to the team. 

As the lead developer, Will is recognized as the mastermind behind our platform's current modules. His dedication and keen listening skills have been pivotal in making SOCS both flexible and scalable, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of our users.

On the rugby field, Will was a formidable force, representing Newport RFC and Wales at the U21 level. He won the Grand Slam in the U21 Six Nations in 2003, played in the U21 World Cup, and represented Wales in the International 7s team. 

Will's passion for sports extends well beyond rugby. He regularly enjoys 5-a-side football, going to the gym, and trail running. His athleticism and dedication are further showcased by his completion of several triathlons, including the notoriously challenging Ironman Wales.

When he's not busy working, Will enjoys quality time with his family. He even uses SOCS as a parent for his two daughters! 

He loves harnessing his creative side through photography, capturing his family adventures and focusing on nature photography. Will has a particular interest in spotting rare and fascinating species, combining his love for the outdoors with his passion for creativity.

Will's blend of technical prowess and athletic achievements brings a unique energy to our growing team. His dedication to both his work and interests sets a high standard for excellence at SOCS.
